delete after reading
What we keep when you text, who can see it, and how to get rid of it.
what we keep
- Account: your email, first name, birthday, gender, a hashed stand-in for the password, plus whatever you put under mine.
- Your threads and the short notes each contact keeps so she can pick up where you stopped.
- Two cookies: one for your session, one saying you passed the age check.
- Payments leave the sum and the transfer reference and nothing else. We don't take cards, so none reach us.
- Server logs of the usual sort, deleted after a short time.
who reads it
A language model reads each text so it can write her side, on our hardware or a supplier's hired for that one job, and an automatic safety screen reads it as well. Nobody sells your threads, and no advertiser gets a look.
counting visitors
A plain counter adds up visits and rough locations. It can't read your texts.
getting rid of it
Each thread has buttons for her notes, a copy and clearing. Closing the whole account takes a note from the address you joined with. Anything extra your country's law grants is yours on request.
